Detailed information
Finding and working with a therapist shouldn't have to be complicated--it's really about finding someone you can talk to who has new insights and who can teach you new relationship principles that might shift your entire dynamic in important relationships. What is most important is that you feel comfortable with your therapist. Otherwise, therapy will not work.
I am a licensed psychotherapist at the doctoral level. In addition to my private practice, I have had experience teaching at an accredited graduate school. I have helped training clinicians learn systemic principles about dating, marriage, parenting and family life, as well as how to treat symptoms such as depression, anxiety, infidelity, and substance abuse when these relationships are not going well. I have been in practice for many years and work with couples, individuals, and families, including adolescents.
My approach is down-to-earth, practical, and not without humor. Even in the darkest circumstances, a sense of humor can shift your perspective and build resilience.
The best way to find a therapist is to talk to several of us and see who you connect with. I invite you to interview me over the phone at 619 9906203 to see if it makes sense to schedule a meeting. Visit my website to learn more at http://www.Cunninghamtherapy.com
Hope to hear from you!
